Our Story!

Norma Grieve and Roz Macaskill - Mother and Daughter Team of Scottish Proposal, Engagement, Elopement & Destination Wedding Photographers on the Isle of Skye, Eilean Donan Castle, Highlands and Islands, Scotland, Iceland and the Globe.

Hello!  I'm Roz and I'm weird.

Don't believe me?  Here's the proof:

I have more Irregular Choice shoes than I do actual clothes.  The same probably goes for books.

I have a name for my car.  (Grace.  Shes's a Jaguar X-Type Sovereign and my Instagram is full of her!)

I have dark purple hair with bright purple streaks layered underneath.

I love vintage clothing, music and styles.

The truth is, being weird is good.  Being weird makes me look at the world in an offbeat way - and I translate what I see into dramatic, romantic wedding photographs.

I am also honoured to write for Scottish Islands Explorer, News of Uist, The Heb Magazine and The Skye Magazine.  In 2016, I was an official photographer at Rod Stewart's Inverness concert - so exciting!  In 2017, I also got to photograph the amazing Amy Macdonald!

I recently found this picture of myself as a little girl, struggling to take a photograph using a tripod as big as myself.  I had never seen it before and, when I did, there was a sudden flood of realisation that photography has always been part of my life, as natural as breathing.

I'd love to document your love story, so please do get in touch.

Wedding Photographer Norma Grieve:

I was always a sensitive sort of child. (When I was really little, I wouldn’t kick my ball in case I hurt it!)  I hated to see anything beautiful or living destroyed or damaged.

That sensitivity, though, taught me to be “in tune” with people and their individuality which helps in sensing and recording the unique atmosphere of each wedding.

I remember seeing the film, Bed Of Roses, in which the hero delivered flowers. Asked, “Why?” he made the point about people always being happy to receive flowers.  So, to work with happy people all the time, I would either have to be a deliver flowers or babies or be a wedding photographer! I feel honoured to be invited to share others' happiness, being responsible for retelling gorgeous moments from your wedding, in photographs - that really is euphoria!

If you’d like to enjoy the EUPHORIA experience forever, please email. Roz and I would really love to hear all about you and the details of your wedding.
