Scottish Castle Wedding Photography
22 March 2017

Whether it's a romantic ruin or a lavish castle with catering facilities, you are spoiled for choice when it comes to Scottish castles.

Here are some of our favourites!

Isle of Skye Wedding Photographer

Armadale Castle.  Although they don't cater for weddings anymore, this is still a wonderful and romantic ruined castle.  The grounds are also beautiful for photography!

Dunvegan Castle.  We have photographed weddings here several times and love it!  The hard-working team provides a delicious buffet for the couple and their guests.

Duntulm Castle.  Perched on the edge of a cliff with breathtaking views all around, Duntulm is one of Skye's most beautiful ruined castles.  Located at the very north end of Skye, this is close to Staffin, the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing.  Due to the castle's tumbledown state, it is advisable to exercise caution here.

Dunscaith Castle.  Based in south Skye, this is another stunning ruined castle.  It has impressive views to the Cuillins.

Castle Moil.  This is the first castle you see as you come onto the island.  Another romantic ruin, this castle is easily accessible and would make a wonderful venue for wedding photography!

Castle Ewen.  Not strictly a castle, this is the name given to the turret-like formation in the Fairy Glen.  The Fairy Glen is not to be confused with the Fairy Pools!  Based very close to Uig, this is a gorgeous, tranquil glen.

Eilean Donan Castle Wedding Photographer

Eilean Donan Castle.  The Castle has its very own wedding planner, Rona, who works tirelessly to make sure every couple receives individual care.

Kilchurn Castle Wedding Photographer

Kilchurn Castle.  Based in Argyll, we had the thrill of photographing a wonderful wedding proposal here.  Every angle of this Castle is just gorgeous - and we'd welcome any opportunity to return!

Knock Castle.  Based in Sleat, Isle of Skye, this requires a trail walk and travellers are advised to proceed at their own risk - but it is gorgeous and would make a wonderful backdrop from a distance.
